Seattle Style

Our Seattle sofa range feels as comfy as it looks, with lots of seating options for differently-sized homes. The fibre filling in the seat cushions is cut in a certain way that makes it more resilient than other fibres, so you can lounge in a long-lived comfiness. Back cushions are also fibre-filled. Smooth upholstery comes in four colour ways, with toning scatter cushions. There's a complete range with three and two seater sofas, armchair, a swivel cuddle chair to match, and storage footstool, too. Seating for all, in a really inviting range. With all this, the question is: with this much comfort, will you ever want to get up again?

Materials & Care

Smooth upholstery comes in four colour ways, with toning scatter cushions. We're choosy when it comes to our upholstery, using only the highest quality fabrics. All our fabrics are rated for heavy domestic use to stand up to the demands of family life. Our fabric chairs have flat weave fabrics which are hard wearing and luxurious to touch

Material composition:

Main material: 100% Polyester
Scatter cushion cover: 73% Cotton, 27% Polyester
Scatter cushion filling: Fibre-filled cushions give extra cosiness. Extra style, too, as they're designed to tone with the whole sofa range.

Material construction:

Frame: All our sofa and armchair frames feature solid hardwood. It forms part of a strong frame that’s made to last – and designed not to creak. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can enjoy the support and comfort of a well-made sofa.

Seat base: Serpentine springs spread the load of the seat cushions. A sprung platform with plenty of springs mean our sofas have great support at the base. That means no sagging – and more comfort for you.

Seat cushion: In these seat cushions, two kinds of fibre are blended to give the softest feel of all. The high tech fibres are designed to keep a good cushion shape, too.

Back support: Tensioned webbing and foam keep the back cushions in place, and the sofa in good shape. And when you relax back at the end of the day, that's just the kind of secure feeling you want.

Back cushion: These are fibre-filled and designed to keep their shape. Fibre is so luxurious when you want to settle back and relax.

Feet: Hardwood with smoked oak finish.

Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish. We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant marks.

Sunlight

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.
