Materials & Care

Our Salento leather range is upholstered in premium Italian leather. All pieces within this range feature an embossed, lightly buffed finish that, without making the leather shiny, gives it a subtle sheen. The leather is luxuriously soft to the touch and is stain resistant, meaning it's ready for anything that home life can throw at it.

Frame: The frame features solid hardwood, meaning our armchair is extra strong and won't creak, so it's even easier for you to relax.

Seat base: The seat is supported by strong and flexible elastic webbing.

Seat cushion: Foam fills the fixed cushion to form a comfortable, resilient seat.

Back support: The back of this armchair is supported by durable elastic webbing.

Back cushion: The fixed cushion is filled with foam, resulting in an extremely supportive and resilient back.

Feet: The feet are made of solid beech.

Leather

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes. They’re sofas that look good where real life happens. Sofas for all kinds of interior, for all kinds of families.

Our leather sofas are covered in leather all over, including sides and back. Most of our upholstery is corrected grain leather. This is leather that’s been treated to have a uniform surface, but still keeps its natural look.

Keep your leather upholstery looking good with regular dusting and a light polish. We have a leather care kit available with a soft cleaner and leather protection cream.

Sunlight can cause leather upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight. Heat from radiators can cause leather to crack. Make sure there’s enough air circulating between a radiator and leather furniture.
