Frame: All our sofas are built around a solid hardwood frame, expertly crafted for lasting strength and reliability. Designed not to creak or weaken over time, the joints are assembled using traditional carpentry techniques. The result is a sturdy, supportive foundation that ensures enduring comfort and peace of mind, so you can enjoy relaxing moments on a sofa that's truly built to last.

Seat base: Serpentine springs help to evenly distribute the weight of the seat cushions, providing consistent and reliable support. With a generous number of springs built in, this sofa offers exceptional durability, preventing sagging and ensuring lasting comfort every time you sit down.

Seat cushion: Relax into the foam-filled seat cushions, topped with a plush layer of fibre for enhanced comfort. Thoughtfully designed to maintain their shape without the need for constant plumping, they offer long-lasting softness and effortlessly stay looking their best.

Back support: Supportive tensioned webbing provides support for the back cushions, creating that perfectly reassuring feeling when you settle in at the end of the day. Lean back and enjoy consistent, comforting support that's always just right.

Back cushion: Filled with a blend of fibre and soft wadding, our back cushions are designed to deliver lasting comfort and gentle support. Their carefully constructed shape helps them stay looking full and inviting, with minimal maintenance needed to keep them in great condition.

Feet: The feet are durable protective glides in black, designed to withstand the everyday.

Leather

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes. They’re sofas that look good where real life happens. Sofas for all kinds of interior, for all kinds of families.

Our leather sofas are covered in leather all over, including sides and back. Most of our upholstery is corrected grain leather. This is leather that’s been treated to have a uniform surface, but still keeps its natural look.

Keep your leather upholstery looking good with regular dusting and a light polish. We have a leather care kit available with a soft cleaner and leather protection cream.

Sunlight can cause leather upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight. Heat from radiators can cause leather to crack. Make sure there’s enough air circulating between a radiator and leather furniture.

Sofas start with the frame. All of our sofa frames come with a lifetime guarantee, as we incorporate hardwood into every one and fix all joints with classic carpentry skills to prevent creaking.

Seat base. Serpentine springs spread the load of seat cushions. We use more than most manufacturers, giving a stronger base for support.

Seat cushions. Foam and fibre fillings are used in different ways across our ranges. Choose from styles with firmer comfort or cushions that are luxuriously soft.

Back cushions. Our sofas come in different styles. Tensioned webbing and superloop back springs support classic high back looks and pillow back cushions alike, fibre-filled for sink-in comfort.

Scatter cushions. Most of our sofas come with feather or fibre-filled scatter cushions. Made to match particular sofa ranges, they add that extra bit of comfort.
