Furniture Guard

All over leather upholstery gives a luxurious look that's soft to touch yet hard-wearing. We use corrected grain leather to take away any flaws in the surface before it's dyed and guard against scratching.

Frame: Our footstools are made with hardwood in the frame so they're strong enough to be used as an impromptu seat when needed, as well as for putting your feet up on.

Footstool base: Serpentine springs in the base spread the load, so the foam filling lasts longer. That means no sagging and more comfort for you.

Footstool cushion: The plump-free seat cushions are made with two layers of foam, with the top one softer to ensure maximum comfort.

Feet: Low solid hardwood feet

Leather

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes. They’re sofas that look good where real life happens. Sofas for all kinds of interior, for all kinds of families.

Our leather sofas are covered in leather all over, including sides and back. Most of our upholstery is corrected grain leather. This is leather that’s been treated to have a uniform surface, but still keeps its natural look.

Keep your leather upholstery looking good with regular dusting and a light polish. We have a leather care kit available with a soft cleaner and leather protection cream.

Sunlight can cause leather upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight. Heat from radiators can cause leather to crack. Make sure there’s enough air circulating between a radiator and leather furniture.

Sofas start with the frame. Ours are made using classic carpentry skills. Hardwood is used to reinforce at key places so there’s no creaking or moving of joints.

Seat base. Serpentine springs spread the load of seat cushions. We use more than most manufacturers, giving a stronger base for support.

Seat cushions. Foam and fibre fillings are used in different ways across our ranges. Choose from styles with firmer comfort or cushions that are luxuriously soft.

Back cushions. Our sofas come in different styles. Tensioned webbing and superloop back springs support classic high back looks and pillow back cushions alike, fibre-filled for sink-in comfort.

Scatter cushions. Most of our sofas come with feather or fibre-filled scatter cushions. Made to match particular sofa ranges, they add that extra bit of comfort.
