Porter Style

The velvet Porter 2-seater sofa will look at home in a quietly luxurious living room styled with subtle gold accents. In a nod towards art deco style, the end of each arm and the edges of the seat cushions are characterised by fabric piping, while vertical fluted stitching features on the fixed back cushion and wrap arms. Double-sided scatter cushions add focal points that draw the eye and solid oak feet provide a sturdy base, giving Porter a grounded yet sophisticated look and feel.

For a smooth delivery, this sofa has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions are supplied.

Materials & Care

Our Porter sofa range is upholstered in luxurious polyester velvet. This beautiful material has a smooth, soft feel and looks cosy and inviting in any shade. We use polyester in our fabric upholstery for its durability and versatility.

Material composition:

Main material: 100% Polyester
Scatter cushion cover: 100% Polyester
Scatter cushion filling: Polyester fibres create particularly soft and plump scatter cushions.

Material construction:

Frame: A well made sofa frame that comes with a lifetime guarantee and is constructed from timber and enhanced with springs and elastic webbing.

Seat base: Serpentine springs provide a sturdy and flexible seat base, while silent wire ensures weight is distributed evenly and sagging is prevented.

Seat cushion: The reversible seat cushions have foam cores wrapped in plump polyester fibres.

Back support: Elastic webbing provides strong and flexible back support.

Back cushion: Soft, fluffy polyester fibres fill the fixed back cushion.

Feet: Natural oak.

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.
