Bramble Style

Bramble is a range of classic country style sofas, armchair and footstool with inviting cushioning and turned wooden legs. Deeply comfortable, with reversible fibre-filled back cushions, and special seat cushions with foam and combed fibre top. Bramble also has a mix and match choice in upholstery. There are five shades of plain, grounded colours with a super-smooth feel. These complement two shades of a smooth, patterned material - one a cool grey, the other a warmer neutral. If the sofa's plain, the scatter cushions will be patterned. Conversely, you can choose a patterned main upholstery and plain scatters. Hardwood in the frame gives the built-in strength, with sprung support for the seat cushions, too. Choose Bramble for your modern country living room.

For a smooth delivery, this sofa has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions are supplied.

Materials & Care

Bramble's smooth and durable upholstery has a sketched floral design with toning plain scatters. We're choosy when it comes to our upholstery, using only the highest quality fabrics. All our fabrics are rated for heavy domestic use to stand up to the demands of family life. Our fabric sofas have flat weave fabrics which are hard wearing and luxurious to touch.

Material composition:

Main material: 100% Polyester
Scatter cushion cover: 100% Polyester
Scatter cushion filling: For that extra bit of cosiness, these scatters are filled with duck feathers. They're part of the sofa range, designed with toning design and colour.

Material construction:

Frame: All our sofa and armchair frames feature solid hardwood. It forms part of a strong frame that’s made to last – and designed not to creak. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can enjoy the support and comfort of a well-made sofa.

Seat base: Serpentine springs spread the load of the seat cushions. Our springs are held together with 'silent wire', quiet strands helping to give plenty of support at the base. That means no sagging – and more comfort for you.

Seat cushion: With a combed fibre top, these seat cushions give a softer, luxurious feel. The foam at the base keeps the cushion in shape. This fibre-top style is one of our softest-feeling cushions.

Back support: Tensioned webbing keeps the back cushions in place. When you relax back at the end of the day, you want just the right kind of secure feeling that this gives.

Back cushion: Cushions filled with blown fibre feel the softest. Pockets of air are held in the fibre, making this the filling for the ultimate sink-in sensation.

Feet: Hardwood with oak finish.

Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish. We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant marks.

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.
