Materials & Care

Our Colorado range is upholstered in quality fabric that is both durable and soft to the touch. Available in a number of different colourways, this inclusive range has something for everyone. All our fabrics are rated for heavy domestic use, so they can withstand the tests of time and real life.

Material composition:

Main material: 100% Terylene

Material construction:

Frame: All our sofa and armchair frames feature solid hardwood. It forms part of a strong frame that's made to last and designed not to creak. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can enjoy the support and comfort of a well-made sofa.

Seat base: Serpentine springs and durable elastic webbing work together to provide a supportive base for the fixed seat cushions by distributing weight evenly, preventing sagging, and promoting comfort.

Seat cushion: The fixed seat cushions are pocket sprung and padded with resilient foam, then wrapped in soft polyester fibres to form a luxuriously comfortable seat of medium firmness.

Back support: Serpentine springs and elastic webbing work together at the back of the recliner sofa to spread weight evenly and provide a firm but flexible base for the fixed cushions.

Back cushion: These are fibre-filled and designed to keep their shape. Fibre-filled cushions are soft and feel luxurious to relax into.

Feet: Black protective glides.

Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish. We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant marks.

Sunlight

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.

The settee was ready for delivery a couplemm noof weeks early which was a bonus. It was delivered by 2 professional friendly men who efficiently set it up in my sitting room. This settee looks really nice and inviting, is very comfortable and the electric recliner works very well. The material looks and feels nice and friends have said how nice it is. I am completely satisfied with it, it is everything the online description said and I am enjoying curling up on it. Thank you Oak Furnitureland.

Great quality sofas- sturdy and feel well made. Very supportive - I would describe them as firm’ but still comfortable and the usb point is very handy too. Electric recliners are great. We paid for the premium service so all packaging was removed and the sofas were installed and the men checked all was working before they left. The whole transaction was seamless, and Oakfurniture Land kept us informed from start to finish via emails and texts of what would happen when. We were even offered a faster delivery date - sent a like to choose another date if we wanted it faster, and then you get a delivery slot. Great to know such excellent service still exists both from the online purchase and the delivery service. Thank you - will definitely recommend you to others.
