Great product but I feel very let down by the company due to waste removal. We live in an area with the smallest recycling boxes. However our experience was ruined when all the rubbish was left behind. It took me an hour to cut it all up. I then had to book in to a recycling centre, put it all in my car (three loads !!!) and drop it all off. Quite frankly being informed this was going to happen would have been a great help, but to find out on the day just spoilt the whole experience.

We bought a two and a three seater Colorado recliner sofas with Brooklyn metal and wooden bookcases, TV unit and small tables. All arrived very well packaged, and no damage noted. The delivery guys were super friendly and helpful. All in all very pleased with our purchases, and we now have a new space to enjoy in comfort and style. Only bugbear was the long lead time but we used that to redecorate the rooms ready for our new furniture items. We can recommend the sofas, very comfortable and can be placed close to the wall behind as they move forward and don't damage the wall to the back.

I was not sure we had chosen the right 2 seater electric recliner , it was to go into our dinning room / snug lounge with TV . People may think we are crazy but it's for the black labrador retriever as well . We all love it, it's so comfortable , it reclines without scraping the wall behind. The brown leather effect fabric so far seems to be hard wearing , unless proved wrong we give it 100%.

Difficult to tell about VFM as we've only had it a couple of weeks but it seems well constructed and hopefully last a long time. A VERY BIG negative is managing expectations about delivery. When we purchased this item ( with a load of other furniture) we were told it could be available in a "couple of weeks" we wanted to decorate so plumped of an early November delivery, this changes to late November, Early December, Mid December and finally late December before arriving. At each change of date I was on the phone for an hour to customer services who gave me a different excuse each time and promised to ring me back but never did. On the plus side, OFL have accepted their error, refunded the delivery charge and 5% of the total purchase price.

Comfortable, effortless reclining.. only 1 criticism is the placement of the fire labels on the top rear cushion. So needed to remove as they were unsightly. They could've been placed inside for future reference

Delighted with the speed of delivery of my sofa - and the amiable delivery men!. The recliner motion is smooth and the sofa is very comfortable whether reclined or not. My only frustration is that the fire safety label is at the top of sofa cushions and cannot be hidden from sight and I intend to take this up with the store.

Fantastic sofas, however a points regarding delivery- we paid for a custom delivery to the room of our choice- when the sofas were delivered, I was informed by the delivery team that they don’t unpack to sofas, interesting as the boxes were massive and would never have fitted through any standard doors in the uk, so whats the point of custom delivery? The sofas had to be unboxed outside, which is ridiculous, then carried through to the living room- they would not take away the packaging, which will take hours of cutting up to be suitable for recycling. I would suggest that large furniture be unboxed in the depot & the heavily bubble wrapped- would avoid a lot of issues.

I would give these a 5 all round, however, they were put in the sale after we paid for them, and before they were delivered and for both there is now £500 off in total - a lot of money and I feel as they were not yet delivered and in sale I feel they have a duty to refund the difference - we have emailed them and they are "looking into it" a week on we have heard nothing. These sofas are lovely, colour is darker than what is shown on the site.

Fantastic settee and delivered a week early. However extremely disappointed with the rest of my order that was purchased in August 2020 and now scheduled to be delivered 25.3.21 Excellent sales team but would seriously consider purchasing again from Oak Furniture Land due to this reason. After reading other reviews I'm not confident in seeing the rest of my order in March.
