Think about the room where your new sofa will be living. Will you want to have side tables at each end? Or will you want a coffee table in front? Check you can fit what you want comfortably by looking at the sofa measurements. They are within the Dimensions & Assembly section. Jot them down, and get busy with your tape measure.

Will It Fit?

Materials & Care

The Hastings range is upholstered exclusively in soft, real leather that is buffed before being dyed. This ensures the leather is protected against scratches and looks the same across the range. Colour-matched stitching provides a subtle accent.

Frame: The frame features solid hardwood and comes with a lifetime guarantee. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can relax and enjoy the support and comfort of a well-made piece of furniture.

Seat base: A combination of serpentine springs and strong elastic webbing provide ample support.

Seat cushion: The fixed seat cushions are filled with foam that's been wrapped in soft polyester fibres, resulting in firm yet extremely comfortable seating.

Back support: Strong elastic webbing and serpentine springs work together to provide quality back support.

Back cushion: The fixed back cushions are filled with resilient foam that's been wrapped in soft polyester fibres.

Feet: Protective glides.

Leather

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes. They’re sofas that look good where real life happens. Sofas for all kinds of interior, for all kinds of families.

Our leather sofas are covered in leather all over, including sides and back. Most of our upholstery is corrected grain leather. This is leather that’s been treated to have a uniform surface, but still keeps its natural look.

Keep your leather upholstery looking good with regular dusting and a light polish. We have a leather care kit available with a soft cleaner and leather protection cream.

Sunlight can cause leather upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight. Heat from radiators can cause leather to crack. Make sure there’s enough air circulating between a radiator and leather furniture.

Very comfy worth the wait

Ordered in dark grey, after waiting 4 months for delivery they delivered a light grey sofa! Currently trying to get replacement as not what was ordered. Scott at Hull has said he as referred it to retentions but not very hopeful of positive outcome! Think I am being messed about as obviously it is a cost they don’t want to incur. As I have told Scott really happy with quality of product but it was not what I ordered. If pushed I would accept substantial compensation to make it easy for them but if not forthcoming I am in my rights to insist on them delivering the colour sofa ordered! Not impressed with their customer relations so far. Ray Crosby Edit to review. Pleased to say I have spoken to their customer service dept. today and they are replacing the sofa with the dark grey one I ordered as early as next week! Also agreed to pay me a reasonable amount of compensation for my inconvenience. Very difficult to get through to resolve this problem but cannot fault their final response, thanks to Oliver for sorting it out!
