For a smooth delivery, this sofa has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions are supplied.

Our Dylan range is upholstered in a plush, almost velvety polyester fabric with a lightly textured finish, resulting in a soft, deluxe feel. Available in a number of sophisticated neutrals, Dylan's upholstery is rated for heavy domestic use, so it will withstand the tests of time and real life.

Frame: Our sofas, armchairs, and footstools all come with a lifetime frame guarantee, as they feature solid hardwood and are designed not to creak or warp. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can relax and enjoy the support and comfort of well-made furniture.

Seat base: Serpentine springs and webbing work together to spread the load of the seat cushions. As we use more springs than most, our sofas have plenty of support at the base. That means no sagging and more comfort for you.

Seat cushion: Foam ensures these fixed seat cushions retain their shape and provide comfy, firm support.

Back support: Sturdy yet flexible elastic webbing keeps the fixed cushions in place and provides just the right amount of back support.

Back cushion: Foam is a resilient material that keeps the cushions in shape. Polyester wadding adds more subtle shaping and provides deep comfort.

Feet: Oak hardwood.

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes where real life happens. Sofas for all sizes of home, all kinds of interior, and for all kinds of families.

Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish. We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant marks.

Sunlight

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.

This sofa was just what we were looking for as we needed to replace two old two seater sofas of a similar width due to size constraints with our living room. They have proved to be the most comfortable chairs we have ever purchased, the back is just the right height, the lumber support perfect, and the seat height is also perfect to get yourself up with minum effort (important as you get older). The quality appears to be very good and the lenght of warranty gives us added reassurance that they will last as long as our old sofas. We have purchased furniture from Oak Furnitureland previously and found the quality of their products to be exceptional.

Very happy with our 2 seater sofa Dylan. We paid £654 in the permanent sale. Always sceptical of shops which have permanent sales as it seems to insult the intelligence of the customer. However the sofa is super comfortable and seems to be well built.
