Houston Style

Our Houston sofa range ticks all the style and comfort boxes. Arms are slender, but well-padded, and really supportive with the toning scatter cushions. Buttoned back cushions are sink-in comfy - the best fibre filling makes sure of that. Buttons hold the filling in place while making the cushions look so appealing. Houston's foam-filled, deep seated cushions are fully reversible. They're also very inviting, with super-tactile velvet upholstery. Choose from six shades of velvet that's soft to touch but hard-wearing, too. Hardwood legs complete the modern look. Enjoy the luxury across three sofas, armchair, loveseat and wide footstool.

For a smooth delivery, this sofa has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions are supplied.

Will It Fit?

Materials & Care

Upholstered in super-tactile velvet that's chosen for durability, too. Button-back detail and a scatter in matching pattern add to the snug element. We're choosy when it comes to our upholstery, using only the highest quality fabrics. All our fabrics are rated for heavy domestic use to stand up to the demands of family life. Our fabric sofas have flat weave fabrics which are hard wearing and luxurious to touch.

Material composition:

Main material: 100% Polyester
Scatter cushion cover: 38% Cotton, 34% Polyester, 28% Viscose
Scatter cushion filling: Fibre-filled cushions give extra cosiness. Extra style, too, as they're designed to tone with the whole sofa range.

Material construction:

Frame: All our sofa and armchair frames feature solid hardwood. It forms part of a strong frame that’s made to last – and designed not to creak. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can enjoy the support and comfort of a well-made sofa.

Seat base: Serpentine springs spread the load of the seat cushions. A sprung platform with plenty of springs mean our sofas have great support at the base. That means no sagging – and more comfort for you.

Seat cushion: These seat cushions are foam-filled. A foam filling gives a comfy, firmer seat and also means the cushion keeps its shape. Loose seat cushions with one kind of filling are reversible, too.

Back support: Tensioned webbing and foam keep the back cushions in place, and the sofa in good shape. And when you relax back at the end of the day, that's just the kind of secure feeling you want.

Back cushion: These are fibre-filled and designed to keep their shape. Fibre is so luxurious when you want to settle back and relax.

Feet: Hardwood with smoked oak finish.

Fabric

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes where real life happens. Sofas for all sizes of home, all kinds of interior, and for all kinds of families.

Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish. We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant marks.

Velvet upholstery

Velvet sofa and chairs should be gently vacuumed and dusted. In the event of stains or accidental spills, we recommend you seek specialist advice for any velvet upholstery.

You might also consider our Furniture Guard insurance to take the worry out of accidental spills and stains for any of our sofas.

Sunlight

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.
