Hastings Style

Shown here in two tone brown, our Hastings power recliner armchair has a slim, modern design and will fit in with a wide variety of interior styles. Fixed seat cushions ensure that no plumping is needed, while padded armrests provide maximum comfort and support. The reclining mechanism is simple and easy to use, as there are only two buttons, one to lower you down and one to bring you back up. A built-in USB port is also featured for convenience and comfort. Use as a stand-alone chair in a cosy reading nook, add to your existing furniture suite, or purchase alongside a Hastings sofa and footstool for a coordinated look.

For a smooth delivery, this sofa has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions are supplied.

Will It Fit?

Materials & Care

The Hastings range is upholstered exclusively in soft, real leather that is buffed before being dyed. This ensures the leather is protected against scratches and looks the same across the range. Colour-matched stitching provides a subtle accent.

Frame: The frame features solid hardwood and comes with a lifetime guarantee. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can relax and enjoy the support and comfort of a well-made piece of furniture.

Seat base: A combination of serpentine springs and strong elastic webbing provide ample support.

Seat cushion: The fixed seat cushion is filled with foam that's been wrapped in soft polyester fibres, resulting in a firm yet extremely comfortable seat.

Back support: Strong elastic webbing and serpentine springs work together to provide quality back support.

Back cushion: The fixed back cushion is filled with resilient foam that's been wrapped in soft polyester fibres.

Feet: Protective glides.

Leather

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes. They’re sofas that look good where real life happens. Sofas for all kinds of interior, for all kinds of families.

Our leather sofas are covered in leather all over, including sides and back. Most of our upholstery is corrected grain leather. This is leather that’s been treated to have a uniform surface, but still keeps its natural look.

Keep your leather upholstery looking good with regular dusting and a light polish. We have a leather care kit available with a soft cleaner and leather protection cream.

Sunlight can cause leather upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight. Heat from radiators can cause leather to crack. Make sure there’s enough air circulating between a radiator and leather furniture.
