The 100% polyester velvet upholstery, available in two different colourways, is perfect for adding a touch of luxe. The fabric is soft to touch yet durable to withstand daily life.

Frame: Our sofas, armchairs, and footstools all come with a lifetime frame guarantee, as they feature solid hardwood and are designed not to creak or warp. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can relax and enjoy the support and comfort of well-made furniture.

Seat base: Serpentine springs in the base spread the load, so the foam filling lasts longer. That means no sagging and more comfort for you.

Seat cushion: Fixed cushions have a foam and polyester filling so they keep their shape while offering comfortable seating.

Back support: Elastic webbing spreads weight evenly and provides a firm but flexible base for the back cushion.

Back cushion: Loose pillow-back cushion, with a foam and polyester filling, and zip-off covers to offer easy cleaning.

Feet: Birch feet

The chair looks ok. The wooden finish on the legs and frame is not great. The wood is quite rough. The material on the seats has a couple of marks but not bad enough for me to be bothered to send it back. Good chair for very occasional use.
