Frame: All our sofa and armchair frames feature solid hardwood. It forms part of a strong frame that's made to last and designed not to creak. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can enjoy the support and comfort of a well-made sofa.
Seat base: Serpentine springs and durable elastic webbing work together to provide a supportive base for the fixed seat cushions by distributing weight evenly, preventing sagging, and promoting comfort.
Seat cushion: The fixed seat cushions are pocket sprung and padded with resilient foam, then wrapped in soft polyester fibres to form a luxuriously comfortable seat of medium firmness.
Back support: Serpentine springs and elastic webbing work together at the back of the recliner sofa to spread weight evenly and provide a firm but flexible base for the fixed cushions.
Back cushion: These are filled with polyester fibres and designed to keep their shape. Fibre-filled cushions are soft and feel luxurious to relax into.
Feet: Black protective glides.

Serpentine springs spread the load of seat cushions. We use more than most
manufacturers, giving a stronger base for support.

Foam and fibre fillings are used in different ways across our ranges. Choose
from styles with firmer comfort or cushions that are luxuriously soft.

Our sofas come in different styles. Tensioned webbing and superloop back springs support

This sofa felt fine in the shop, but I didn't take into account that it was too high, I had heels on when we tried it, but without shoes my feet do not reach the floor if sitting back. So eating from a tray on your lap (which I often do) is difficult.
Also its a very firm sofa, I find it uncomfortable after a couple of hours.
But on the plus side my tall husband loves it.

Pleased with sofa.So many out there to choose from it was a bit of a nightmare.I was very impressed with the demonstration of the durability of the man made fabric.The staff in the shop couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant.The delivery chaps were also on the ball and soon had it all up and running.I also went for recliners and glad I did.

This sofa is so incredibly comfortable! It has a sprung interior, very tough, but soft and very durable upholstery and is a beautiful classic design and color. The electric recliner buttons are very accessible on the side of ease arm and the usb outlets are also located next to them. It’s the most comfortable sofa I’ve ever sat on. Delivery and installation was quick and professional. Very big thumbs up!

Comfy and supportive, the usb light stays on all the time, which I’m sure doesn’t use much power but seems unnecessary. One arm had a small spot of glue on the fabric, which I should have mentioned on delivery, but didn’t, it’s under a cushion so can’t be seen.
