The following information applies to any order assigned for delivery by an express palletised distribution service. This method will be used if the delivery address is located in one of the following post code areas:
KW11, KW13-14, IV27
Pallet deliveries may also be used at exceptionally busy times or at a customer's request.
Please check your order confirmation email to ensure we have all the details needed to facilitate a smooth delivery process; relevant contact telephone numbers, payment details and address are crucial. If any part of your order is incorrect, please be sure to contact us on 0800 440 2254 as soon as possible.
The date range estimated for 'dispatch to carrier' is dictated by the item on your order with the longest lead time. This is because all goods must be in stock and be fully processed before the order is passed to our carriers.
After receiving your order confirmation email, your next communication will be a dispatch email confirming the goods have now been dispatched to our pallet carrier. This will be followed by a call to you from the pallet carrier to arrange a delivery date. However, you can track your order on our website at any time.
Please note that this is a one man palletised delivery service to the first point of entry to your property. This service takes careful planning on predetermined routes, therefore please allow up to 10 working days after receiving your dispatch email for our carriers to plan your delivery and contact you. The carrier will always endeavour to deliver your goods as soon as possible, but please be aware that the delivery dates in certain post codes or in exceptionally busy periods could take up to 21 days from the dispatch date.
The pallet carrier will offer a delivery date according to when their schedule places them in your postcode area. Therefore to ensure prompt delivery, please could we ask you to be as flexible as possible when offered a delivery date, as the carriers may not be able to offer an alternative date immediately. Please note that your delivery will be made between Monday and Friday; the pallet carrier does not offer a weekend service. You will receive an email from the pallet delivery service to confirm your delivery date.
Your order will usually be delivered using a large lorry aided by the use of a pallet truck, so please be sure your property is accessible for this size of vehicle. Problems can occur with long gravel driveways with tight access so please inform us prior to dispatch if this is applicable.
It is also important to check the measurements of your chosen furniture on our website and ensure there is adequate doorway and stair access; in the instance that a non faulty item has to be returned after dispatch or aborted deliveries, beyond the control of Oak Furniture Land, the customer will be subject to return fees.
Your order will be banded and palletised and there will need to be an able bodied person at the delivery address, to assist with carrying the goods into your home. For larger items such as wardrobes and sideboards, we would suggest you arrange for two people to be present, if possible. Our carriers will not unwrap or assemble any items; full details of after sales procedures will be given to you prior to delivery.
Please note that on rare occasions your delivery method could be subject to change, if this occurs you will be emailed and contacted prior to delivery to discuss this.
For only £39 per order, all items featuring "custom delivery" can usually be delivered
within 7 working days.
Alternatively choose from a selection of delivery dates and pre-book a day convenient for you, all available dates will be shown clearly at checkout.
For only £39 you can choose any items displaying an "Express Delivery" logo, for a guaranteed delivery date to suit you. The dates available will vary in different postcode areas but will be made clear to you in the checkout process.
There is no limit on the amount of items that can be added to your basket for the £39 charge, this is per order and not per item.
