Throughout the current situation, at Oak Furnitureland we’ve continued to keep the safety and well-being of our colleagues and customers our number one priority - and this won’t change.

Following government guidance we have made the decision to begin opening stores on a limited basis from Wednesday 17th June. We’ve implemented changes in store to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable shopping experience. These changes include a one way system to guide you safely around our store and Personal Protective Equipment for our colleagues. We are also limiting the number of customers in store at any one time, so with this in mind we have a designated queuing area outside where you are able to wait, in order to support social distancing safely.

We have introduced ‘Scan and Go Contact Free Shopping’ allowing customers to enjoy a completely contactless shopping experience when in store.

We are open for business as usual online and by telephone. To ensure we can deliver safely and within government guidelines, we have put additional measures in place to protect both our customers and colleagues. We have resumed our room of choice delivery service, if you would rather have your goods delivered to your doorstep or garage, please advise the delivery team when they arrive (Please note that due to government guidelines, deliveries in local lockdown areas may revert to a doorstep delivery only. In our warehouse, we have put additional measures in place including clear floor markings and staggered shift patterns and breaks. We have increased the frequency of cleaning and provided employees with PPE such as disposable gloves, masks and hand sanitiser.

If you are self-isolating or unable to receive a threshold delivery at this time, we will keep your items safe for as long as you need us to. You can amend your delivery date at any time by logging into ‘My Account’.

Firebreak Lockdown in Wales

Following the latest government update, and subsequent guidelines regarding the upcoming firebreak lockdown in Wales, we will unfortunately no longer be able to offer our room of choice delivery options (Standard & Customised deliveries) between 6pm on Friday 23rd October and Monday 9th November. This means that all customers who were expecting deliveries during this period will be changed to a Doorstep Delivery Service, and will be contacted with more information by email.

We appreciate that this is incredibly disappointing, however, our focus has to be on the wellbeing and safety of our customers and colleagues, and we apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause. All customers that would prefer to move their delivery to a date after lockdown has ended can do so at no additional charge.

If you have a delivery scheduled between 6pm on Friday 23rd October, and Monday 9th November, and would prefer to move your delivery date, rather than accept a Doorstep Delivery, please go to your account area on our website by clicking here

Company Update

As of 15 June 2020, Oak Furnitureland is operating under new ownership. This is a positive development for the company and will mean that we are in a much stronger financial position post COVID-19.
