COVID 19 and Company Update


Since the end of March, at Oak Furnitureland, we’ve continued to keep the safety and well-being of our colleagues and customers our number one priority - and this won’t change.

Below you will find the latest updates on store openings, delivery scheduling and how we are keeping our colleagues and customers safe during these unprecedented times.


If you have a delivery scheduled, the good news is that the government guidelines allow us to continue to deliver as normal. All of our deliveries are completed contact free, and our drivers will wear face coverings when delivering into your home.

Store update:

Due to Government restrictions, we are having to temporarily close some of our stores. Please see below for the latest information:


All stores in England will be closed from Monday 4th January and will re-open as soon as the government guidelines allow.


All stores in Scotland will be temporarily closed from midnight on Saturday 19th December, and will re-open as soon as the government guidelines allow.


All stores in Wales will be temporarily closed from midnight on Saturday 19th December, and will re-open as soon as the government guidelines allow.

Northern Ireland:

Our Belfast store will be temporarily closed from Monday 21st December for a minimum of 6 weeks. We look forward to opening our doors again as soon as we are permitted to.

Our website is still open for business, and our online sales team are ready to take your call on 0800 440 2254 7 days a week from 9am - 9pm.

Virtual Appointments:

We are now offering virtual appointments which allow you to connect to a member of our virtual sales team, who will be able to walk you around our Showroom and show you our products from the comfort of your home. If you would like to book a virtual appointment please click here

Keeping our colleagues and customers safe:

We’ve implemented changes in store to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable shopping experience. These changes include a one way system to guide you safely around our store and Personal Protective Equipment for our colleagues. We are also limiting the number of customers in store at any one time, so with this in mind we have a designated queuing area outside where you are able to wait, in order to support social distancing safely.

We have introduced ‘Scan and Go Contact Free Shopping’ allowing customers to enjoy a completely contactless shopping experience when in store.

Our warehouse teams are temperature checked at the start of every shift, and are provided with Personal Protective Equipment, and we have updated our delivery guidelines to support a safe and hassle free delivery experience for both our customers and our colleagues.

Company Update

As of 15 June 2020, Oak Furnitureland is operating under new ownership. This is a positive development for the company and will mean that we are in a much stronger financial position post COVID-19.
