All our mattresses are designed with comfort in mind to ensure you have a great night's sleep, and our Ecotex mattress is no different.
Ecotex foam is made of trimmings that are reclaimed during the manufacturing of a variety of virgin foam products, for example, seat pads. It can be reproduced to an exact density and hardness, making it ideal for use in mattresses.
Our 20cm Ecotex mattress comprises 75% Ecotex foam and 25% virgin foam. This makes it a more eco-friendly option than a mattress made using 100% virgin foam, as utilising surplus trimmings ensures efficient use of natural resources by reducing the need for virgin foam in mattresses.
The Ecotex foam makes up the base of the mattress, while the virgin foam layer lies on top and has a corrugated underside that allows it to spring back into place quickly, resulting in a comfortable medium/firm mattress.
88% fewer chemicals are used in the production of Ecotex foam than in virgin foam and, as no fluffy fibres or feathers are present in our 20cm Ecotex single mattress, it’s completely hypoallergenic. Specifically designed with both durability and value in mind, it’s an excellent choice for a spare or guest bedroom.
The soft, stretchy, blue and white cover has a composition of 90% polyester and 10% polypropylene and can be removed by a zip and machine washed on a gentle cycle at 40 degrees celsius.
Our mattresses are fully compliant with UK Flammability Standards BS7177
Our mattresses are designed to work with our solid hardwood bed frames. If they're the correct size, they work with other bed frames, too. Look through the range here.

Will It Fit?
Choosing the right piece of furniture for your home is a big decision. Not only does it need to look good and do the job it was made to do, but it also needs to fit.
To fit with your interior style, to fit with your home needs, and most importantly, to fit with the dimensions of your room. If the piece of furniture is near a doorway, which way does the door open? Is the item going to be restricting the route in and out of the room? Is there a radiator on the wall, or a windowsill jutting out that you need to factor in when measuring the item’s height?
Check what you can fit comfortably within your room by looking at the furniture measurements. You can find them in the Dimensions & Assembly section. Note them down and get busy with your tape measure.
The final important measurement to mention, is to ensure your new piece of furniture can fit through your front door when it gets delivered! Most items arrive assembled and boxed. The packaged item dimensions can also be found in the Packaging & Assembly section. Download our Will It Fit PDF, and follow our guide to a smooth furniture delivery.
