Terms and Conditions
• By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
• The promoter is Oak Furnitureland Group Limited, a company incorporated with company number 12645185, whose registered office address is c/o Unit Dc2 Viscount Way, South Marston Industrial Estate, Swindon, Wiltshire, England, SN3 4TN (“Promoter”).
• The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw.
• The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
• The prize draw can be entered by completing the Oak Furnitureland Shopping Behaviour Survey. One entry will be accepted per survey participant.
• Closing date for entry will be at midnight on 31/12/2024. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for delayed or incorrectly submitted entries.
• The winner of the draw will receive a £1,500 cash prize.
• The winner will be selected at random and will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) within seven working days of the competition closing and asked to confirm their full name and address. These details will be used to send a cheque for the prize amount to the winner at the address provided. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for verifying the accuracy of the name and address details provided. The Promoter will not accept any liability for any loss once the cheque has been posted. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
• The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to accept further entries under this or any other promotion if it becomes aware of the reselling or auctioning of the prize.
• In all matters relating to the prize draw, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and binding and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into about it.
• At all times throughout the prize draw, participants must deal with the Promoter in the utmost good faith in every respect. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify any participant that it has reasonable grounds to believe has breached any of the rules, including, but not limited to, falsifying any information submitted to or requested by the Promoter.
• The Promoter reserves the right to amend or terminate the prize draw at any time without notice. However, the Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to minimise the effect of such amendment or termination to avoid disappointment. Any termination or amendment to the prize draw will be communicated to you via email.
• The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable, copies of their winning entries to anyone who emails customerrelations@ofl.co.uk within one month after the closing date stated in these Terms and Conditions. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
• Personal data supplied during this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at the following page: www.oakfurnitureland.co.uk/page/privacy-policy.html. See also the above condition with regard to the announcement of winners.
• The prize draw will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the prize draw.
