Large enough to relax on with friends and family, the Goodwood modular 4-seater corner recliner is ideal for those who want to enhance their space with an L-shaped sofa, without transporting it through their home in one piece; each module can be neatly fitted together once in your room of choice. Benefitting from power reclining, each of the end modules is operated using two simple buttons and features a USB port for easy device charging.

For a smooth delivery, this sofa has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions are supplied.

Choosing the right size furniture for your room makes all the difference. The right proportions make a room look comfortable. They make your room work.

Think about the room where your new sofa will be living. Will you want to have side tables at each end? Or will you want a coffee table in front? Check you can fit what you want comfortably by looking at the sofa measurements. They are within the Dimensions & Assembly section. Jot them down, and get busy with your tape measure.

Materials & Care

Our Goodwood range is upholstered in quality fabric that is both durable and soft to the touch. Rated for heavy domestic use, our upholstery is chosen with both style and function in mind, so we use various types of polyester, such as terylene, for their versatility and ability to withstand the tests of time and real life.

Main material: 100% Terylene

Material construction:

Frame: The frame features solid hardwood and comes with a lifetime guarantee. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can relax and enjoy the support and comfort of a well-made piece of furniture.

Seat base: Serpentine springs are resilient and will bounce back time after time. Silent wire connects the springs and assists with even weight distribution.

Seat cushion: Pocket springs are wrapped in foam and polyester fibres to form soft and extremely supportive fixed seat cushions.

Back support: Serpentine springs spread weight evenly and keep the back cushions secure, providing comfort and support where it's needed most.

Back cushion: Filled with polyester fibres and designed to keep their shape, the fixed back cushions feel soft and luxurious to sink into.

Feet: Discreet glides protect the floor.

Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish. We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant marks.

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.

    Seat cushions. Foam and fibre fillings are used in different ways across our ranges. Choose from styles with firmer comfort or cushions that are luxuriously soft.

    Back cushions. Our sofas come in different styles. Tensioned webbing and superloop back springs support classic high back looks and pillow back cushions alike, fibre-filled for sink-in comfort.

  • Scatter cushions

    Scatter cushions. Most of our sofas come with feather or fibre-filled scatter cushions. Made to match particular sofa ranges, they add that extra bit of comfort.

This is such a comfortable sofa, the recliners are fantastic but lethal for falling asleep on!! Haha would highly recommend,very happy with ours.

I ordered this suite on 4th January with a delivery date of May. I had no communication near the delivery date so after making a phone call was told it was not taking place due to it not having arrived on the container. I was given another date for the beginning of July because it was due in on 30th June. For the day I was given a delivery time slot but I had no communication from the delivery team. I made a phone call to customer service just before they closed and was told they were running an hour late. Guess what, no communication and no delivery. Again I phoned customer service and was given another delivery date. This was their last chance. Two weeks later the suite arrived without a problem. Over six months from being ordered. I am happy with the suite but their customer service and after sales leaves a lot to be desired. At least they could have contacted me to explain the problems without me having to contact them.
