We headed to America’s east coast to find the inspiration for our new Boston collection; a stylish selection of sleek galvanised metal and oak designs that have been created to complement our popular sister range, Brooklyn.
Boston incorporates key features from the industrial trend with a distinctive aesthetic that makes good use of robust utilitarian materials and angular lines. The look is flat fronted to celebrate the integrity of the natural oak and contrasts beautifully with the dark metal which is shaped into sleigh legs and recessed in slim strips between the drawers. Hidden hinges and a handleless integrated pull design on the doors and drawers dial up the simplicity. The overall effect is a striking collection that works in a number of different settings and decor styles.
Boston In Your Home Office
Working remotely is more popular than ever and lots of us are looking to create an office zone in our house or flat that doesn’t intrude too much on our style or surroundings.
Our solid oak and metal computer desk is the perfect answer for integrating this important part of your life into your home without it taking over your space. The crisp lines, warm grain and cool industrial details in Boston’s design look sharp against this neutral backdrop while providing a neat work and storage station to crack on with projects and tasks.
Boston In Your Bedroom
While you might not automatically think to go for the industrial look in a bedroom, with the right mix of soft furnishings and pops of greenery, pared-back and crisp can still feel warm and tactile. The same angled metal sleigh legs run across the Boston range from the biggest piece, like this triple wardrobe to smaller units like our bedside table. Whatever their size we take the same care and consideration to create pieces that are strong, sturdy and beautifully built to last with features like dovetail joints on the drawers and solid oak runners, backs and bases being just some of the details that make the difference in terms of our quality.
Boston In Your Living Room
Who said the industrial look had to come at the expense of comfort? Teamed here with the Boston coffee table and large sideboard, our new Tremont sofa has a chic low profile that marries clean lines with luxurious comfort.
Thin matt black legs support an expansive seat with cushions upholstered in a tactile tweedy finish that’s soft but resilient. We love how it looks, we love how it feels but we also love how versatile the Tremont is. It comes in a 2 seater and 3 seater sofa as well as a right and left-hand corner chaise and a love seat too so you can configure it to your heart’s content.
