The sun is out, the temperatures are going up and winter is definitely over. I know I usually write about all things related to interiors, but like many people, whether in the countryside or in the city, when the sun comes out, I start dreaming about having a beautiful garden, so I thought I should make an exception. Besides, in a way or gardens are an extension of our homes – even if they’re (especially in my case) not half as well kept. Anyway, I know we are relatively spoilt with many parks and large green areas, but it would nonetheless be rather nice to have my own little oasis. There is, however, a major flaw in my thinking: as far as gardening is concerned, I’m totally inept. I don’t have a green thumb, having to pull out weeds in my parents’ vegetable garden as a child has scarred me for life and I have the attention span of a fruit fly. None of these things help when it comes to establishing a lovely garden over time. But there might be a way to achieve something that comes at least close to my ideal outdoor space.
Like most of us, you’re probably hoping to send time outdoors entertaining your family and friends this Summer.
