When you buy new furniture from us, you can choose to have your unwanted items collected by British Heart Foundation. They’ll be resold in one of its charity shops, where the proceeds help fund lifesaving research, and support families affected by cardiovascular disease.

Cardiovascular diseases affect 7.6 million people in the UK and account for over a quarter of all UK deaths. But with your help, that can change.
By choosing to donate your preloved furniture, you’re not only keeping it out of landfill, you’re helping BHF power advances in cardiovascular science and healthcare that will help them achieve their vision of a world where everyone has a healthier heart for longer.
Together with customers like you, we’ve already helped raise over £185,000 in donated stock value, and diverted nearly 35 tonnes from waste — the weight of almost six African elephants*!

What you’re helping achieve
With help from our customers who’ve already donated unwanted furniture, British Heart Foundation has been able to:
- Award £119.3 million in research grants last year
- Support 298 PhD students at crucial points in their careers
- Fund 703 active research projects tackling heart disease
- Train over 240,000 people in CPR by the end of 2024
And to put it into perspective, just nine donated tables raised over £1,000, which is enough to help BHF fund a brand-new piece of lab equipment or support a PhD student for a day.
