    Jason Bannister borrows £10,000 to buy a container of furniture

    Jason Bannister begins selling hardwood furniture through the online auction site, eBay

  • 2006

    On Boxing Day, Oak Furniture Land launches its website

  • 2009

    First retail space for Oak Furniture Land is launched in unit on an airfield.
    Launch of first showroom in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

  • 2014

    SofaStore launches online and in-store

  • 2016

    Oak Furniture Land launches online in the USA.
    Oak Furniture Land receives an Outstanding Achievement accolade for being the only UK company to rank in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 for 5 years.
